É artista visual cuja prática transdisciplinar navega entre o corporativismo, a tecnologia e a arte. Seu trabalho investiga o caráter subjetivo das relações humanas, utilizando organismos degradados e materiais subjugados, ele explora superfícies que se fundem em elementos e dimensões híbridas.
A obra de Dantas vai além da materialidade, servindo como um veículo de múltiplos sentidos e promove uma reflexão crítica e poética sobre nossas conexões com o mundo. Seu processo criativo encoraja o espectador a assumir o papel de coautor na construção de significados. Essa abordagem revela o seu olhar que, ao ativar o presente, vislumbra possibilidades para o futuro.
Recentemente, Dantas participou de exposições coletivas envolvendo instalação, fotografia e performance. Destacam-se suas colaborações no happening "Burocracia Ao Reverso" do Clínica Geral/Ateliê 397 e Capacete/xow.rumi - Rio de Janeiro, e na residência artística RAVC/Bienal Black Brazil. Em breve, ele apresentará sua primeira mostra individual, uma instalação no Museu da Gente, em Aracaju - SE.

raul dantas, born in Aracaju, SE (1990), lives and works in São Paulo, SP.

Is a visual artist with a transdisciplinary practice, navigating between corporatism, technology, and art. He investigates human relationships and currently works with degraded plant organisms and other subjugated materials. By immersing himself in the intersection of the fragility and strength of nature, Dantas explores surfaces that incorporate hybrid elements and dimensions.
His work transcends immediate materiality and transforms into a vehicle for multiple meanings, opening a space for critical and poetic reflection on our correlations with the world. Thus, his work becomes a continuous and plural process of meaning-making, encouraging the viewer to position themselves as a co-author in the construction of possible significances. This journey reveals his perspective and practice, which, by activating the present, aims to explore future possibilities.
Raul participated in the 2025.2 class of the RAVC/Black Brazil Biennial artist residency. In addition to recent group exhibitions featuring installation, photography, and performance, he was part of the 2025.2 cohort of Clínica Geral/Ateliê 397 and Capacete/xow.rumi - Rio de Janeiro. Soon, he will hold his first solo exhibition with an installation project that will occupy the Museu da Gente in Aracaju - SE.
