raul dantas, Aracaju, SE (1990), vive e trabalha em São Paulo, SP.
Artista visual, seu trabalho interroga o corporativismo a partir de dentro: as estruturas institucionais, a centralização que determina onde se pode existir criativamente, e a lógica de mercado que atravessa o campo da arte. A tecnologia opera nessa crítica de forma simultânea - como ferramenta e como objeto de investigação, habitada para friccionar o que promete e o que exclui.
O que o sistema descarta e subjuga - culturas, organismos, territórios - torna-se matéria e gesto: a tensão entre o natural e o artificial atravessa uma produção que circula por instalação, performance, fotografia, vídeo, peças sonoras e pinturas, ativando a corporalidade como zona de contato e fricção.
Em 2025 Dantas participou das exposições coletivas Burocracia Ao Reverso (Clínica Geral/Ateliê 397 e Capacete/xow.rumi, Rio de Janeiro/RJ) e da residência RAVC/Bienal Black Brazil. Em 2026, sob a curadoria do edital Ocupe O Museu (MinC), apresentou sua primeira mostra individual - uma instalação de 80 m² no Museu da Gente, em Aracaju/SE.

raul dantas, born in Aracaju, SE (1990), lives and works in São Paulo, SP.
A visual artist, his work interrogates corporatism from within: institutional structures, the centralization that determines where one can exist creatively, and the market logic that permeates the field of art. Technology operates within this critique simultaneously - as tool and as object of investigation, inhabited to friction what it promises against what it excludes.
What the system discards and subjugates - cultures, organisms, territories - becomes material and gesture: the tension between the natural and the artificial runs through a practice spanning installation, performance, photography, video, sound pieces and paintings, activating corporeality as a zone of contact and friction.
In 2025 Dantas participated in the group exhibitions Burocracia Ao Reverso (Clínica Geral/Ateliê 397 and Capacete/xow.rumi, Rio de Janeiro) and the residency RAVC/Bienal Black Brazil. In 2026, under the curatorial framework of the Ocupe O Museu open call (MinC), he presented his first solo exhibition - an 80 m² installation at Museu da Gente, in Aracaju, SE.
